Easy to set up and operate, the Extech RH520A paperless humidity and temperature chart recorder provides simultaneous digital and graphical display of relative humidity and temperature, as well as displays dew point, date and time, and minimum/maximum measurements. The RH520A's internal memory records up to 49,000 data points, which can be transferred to a PC via RS-232 serial port for further data analysis. The sample rate is adjustable from 0.1 second to 200 minutes per sample, permitting daily, weekly or monthly graphs.
The large graphical LCD screen offers adjustable vertical and horizontal TAC resolution, enabling you to monitor both temperature and humidity within a user specified range. It's ideal for monitoring and recording laboratory or clean room temperature and humidity history; monitoring controlled environment areas such as freezers, storage areas, and other critical areas; and storing humidity and temperature historical data for report generation.
Mount the recorder to the wall for easy viewing of temperature and humidity trends with date/time stamp. With its desk-mounted configuration, you can use its swivel arm control panel and probe with remote cable can reaching into ducts and humidity chambers. The detachable probe can extend up to 3 feet (1 meter), and this replaceable tool doesn't require recalibration.
The RH520A has a temperature range of -20 degrees to 140 degrees F and a humidity range of 10 to 95 percent relative humidity (RH), plus its LabVIEW-based software calculates and graphs dew point, wet bulb, and GPP (grains per pound). Other features include audible and visual alarm with hi/low setpoints, an output socket that can be used with an optional external alarm module, and a built-in stand. The RH520A measures 5 x 7.7 x 0.9 inches (HxWxD), weighs 12.6 ounces, and is powered by an included AC adapter or three AAA batteries. It's backed by a one-year limited warranty.
