About The Aprilaire 60 Humidistat With Blower Activation White The Aprilaire 60 Humidistat is a direct replacement for Aprilaire model 56 and 58. The Aprilaire 60 Humidistat is an automatic digital control that works like the Aprilaire 58 but has an added feature that can turn your HVAC blower on when humidification is needed, even if there is no need for heat at the time. The Aprilaire 60 Humidistat eliminates the need for external blower activation relays. This feature allows the Aprilaire 60 Humidistat to work great with energy efficient systems that feature shorter run cycles that provide lowertemperature air. The Aprilaire 60 Humidistat works with your furnace to control the unit. The Aprilaire 60 Humidistat detects the indoor RH as well as the outdoor temperature and will automatically adjust the time of operation for the humidifier to provide the greatest level of humidity level within your home. The digital display of the Aprilaire 60 Humidistat displays the RH level inside the cold air return. The Aprilaire 60 Humidistat can also be operated in manual mode for applications where it is not possible to run a wire to an outdoor sensor that mounts on the return ductwork. The lighted display of the Aprilaire 60 Humidistat provides readings of indoor relative humidity readout, water panel change light, service indicator light, and an "on" indicator light. The Aprilaire 60 Humidistat includes the control, manual mode sticker, outdoor sensor, installation instructions, and an ownerrsquo;s manual. The Aprilaire 60 Humidistat is designed for use with Aprilaire models: 110, 112, 220, 224, 400, 440, 445, 445A, 448, 500, 550, 558, 560, 560A, 568, 600, 700, 760, 760A and 768 and other humidifiers that require a 24 volt humidistat. The dimensions for the Aprilaire 60 Humidistat are 5 15/16" wide by 4 1/4" tall and requires a 3/4" hole for the ducting mount. An optional remote sensor can also be purchased separately.
